Hello!

So, I need a new headsett, don't know if I can afford it yet, but maybe.

Now I have a G35 and my main reason for swapping it is, 1: Horribly uncomfortable, can only use them for max 1 hour before it hurts to much on the top of my head (I have the thickest cussion thingy on), 2: it sucks at music

I have a Snowball mic so I don't need one on the headsett but I could be nice to have in case I forget my Snowball somwhere (I was just 4 weeks without it, forgot it at my moms...)

So, I want this headsett primerly for gaming, but will use it for movies a few times a year or so ~

It needs to my comfortable as hell, I want to use them for a whole weekend (Like a LAN) without having any issues

Budget?
Someplace around (Or at best below) the price of the G35

Have you tried anything other than the G35? Typically you might not get the best quality headphone/headset on the market for under £75 UK price.....I take that back.. But its hard to decide upon a opinion based topic.

You really need to ask PC store owners for the headset section to test out the audio however the microphones are gonna vary between headset solutions.

are you really going to be at a lan? is noise isolation going to be needed? the audio technica 3d wing design is my most comfortable headphone I own but if you really are going to be in a noisy environment you might need a closed back version unless you are willing to deal with it being an open backed headphone

How does the Zalman and Modmic compare to eachother and to the Snowball (Which I already have)?

I really like the price of the SE-A100, almost 20% lower than the G35 : D

The AD700x is double of G35, a bit far up but I could go there, maybe

How do they compare?

Just a notice, the AD700x I see costs 199$ at Amazon, but here in Norway it costs 349$, so yeah, that's why it is to much for me d:

Would buy it for 199$ if I could

Why? Good headphones do more for your sound than a pricey source.

Doesn't matter, if he gets headphones that don't work with his soundcard he can just swap to onboard audio.

So What you are saying to me is that an onboard soundcard is fine for exspensive headphones???

Depends on the motherboard, but it's better to have expensive headphones and onboard than bad headphones and an expensive source.
