As a Floatplane member myself I think this is best as I never got around to getting a Vessel Subscription (glad I didn't). I also really like the download feature, that Desk PC Part 4 is sat in my downloads folder right now

I actually wanted to subscribe solely to help out but the only payment method is paypal and you can only have a paypal acc in brazil using a credit card which I do not own as I do not believe in credit, cash only [:

I only use my credit card to collect on rewards... I pay the full amount every month so I'm never owning money

Haha only a little, at 18 I was definitely living paycheck to paycheck...but I was having loads of fun, totally worth it!

As someone who barely keeps up with Youtube subscriptions already (I just marathon the videos that interest me when I can find the time), the early access features wouldn't be worth it. As someone with a mediocre internet connection, the higher quality stuff they talk about coming with it wouldn't be worth it. But that's just my view on those things, and those who live for videos so crisp you could cut yourself on them and the ability to brag about early video access will have a different view.

 

But as a way to continually support the team, I'm sure it would be worth it. Unfortunately, I have like, no disposable income

Using a credit card doesn't have do mean you owe money.  At least not for very long.  I can make payments to one of my credit cards using an app for my credit union on my iPhone so often I can use my credit card (that's through the same institution) and then immediately pay the bill.  Almost like it was never there.  lol

 

My point is a credit card can function similar to cash in that you don't have to spend more than you have.  You just have to be smart about what you buy and don't spend beyond your ability to pay back quickly enough.  

 

 

 

Another option if you don't like credit cards is getting a debit card.  It can be used very similarly to a credit card with the difference being that you can only spend what is in your checking account.  I assume Brazil has debit cards?

As cheaper and more efficiant method of supporting LMG its worth it. $30/y is ok sum and what I would donate anyway. As video platform, it hasn't sold for me yet. There are little thing in UI and usability that bother me. Biggest being the fact that auto-quality is set to 360p instead of 720p or 1080p. Account based pre-settings is something we still need. Another thing is having all channels in same subforum. Its harder to find those CSF videos I watch mainly from there.

Usually if you are paying in cash you get between 15 to 20 percent discount and pays no taxes aside the tributes, making the end price much more attractive.

 

sure with credit you can get the thing now and pay in 12 months, sometimes sounds more attractive than saving up for 9 months to only then get the thing.

 

There are some down sides down especially in he internet, the paypal being one as here in Brazil you can only put funds on it using credit cards. But I do intend to avoid ever having one.

Yeah that's why I only use debit cards (equates to the same as paying cash)... I find the interest rates to be stupid also where I'm from (I'm not that "far" from brazil)

For me, I use credit cards simply to make money.  That's the only reason.  I have just 2 credit cards.  They earn me cash back.  Since I pay them off every month I don't pay any interest at all.  So I am receiving free money for actually doing nothing.
