From past experience, OnePlus make excellent phones. I have used the OnePlus 2, but based off reviews, the OnePlus 3T is amazing. Many YouTubers (Including Linus) have done reviews of this phone if you want to check it out.

The S5 is a great and clean looking phone, as well as a good "I accidentally dropped it in the pool" Or "I left it in a humid room" phone.

Not everyone needs a headphone jack, the iPhone display is quite often described as one of the best, there's a massive community and iOs generally has better quality apps. The only thing you hit on is the ROM support, but you can JailBreak.

i have a i phone 7 plus as a work phone and a 6p as personal phone trust me it's noticeable, the display on the 7plus is clearly inferior i would take a one plus 3t before the iPhone's display. I am not a reviewer and its an opinion i would take a 1440p OLED over 1080p ips display any day, in a vacuum i phone have the best display but in real life they are behind.  The Cydia community really needs work if you want to use as a daily driver most tweaks don't work properly, its a waste of time jailbreaking i phone especially with glitches. a headphone jack is something we all don't need but convenient to have i have m40x and i use them daily, no Bluetooth headphone at that price range have the quality of a wired headphone, charging your headphone is really stupid in my opinion, i love the concept of pickup and go.

Oh, I completely agree that a 1080p screen on a phone that big is odd, especially given it's price. It's just often quoted as a very high quality IPS (iirc) screen. AMOLED vs IPS is different person to person, some people like the saturation, others like more true-to-life color representation. Is Cydia what you use when you Jailbreak? Honestly have no idea, as I've never owned an iPhone. Bluetooth headphones are excellent in some scenarios, not so great in others. I was hinting more towards not everybody listening to music on their phone. I've never loaded music onto any of my phones, and as most age the need decreases.

I've always been baffled by Apples huge waste of space on their devices. Other companies have fit 6"+ screens in smaller bodies.
