Which Phone, Watch, and Phone VR should I get?

I'm looking to upgrade my smartwatch soon, my smartphone later this year, and buy my first VR headset. I want to make sure that my choices aren't just good individually, but will also work well together. 

 

I currently have a Galaxy S5, which has served me well, which inclines me to want the S7, or S8 when it comes out. However, I've also heard good things about the Pixel. I'm also interested in hearing if there's something better, available now or later this year.

My watch is the Samsung Gear Live, which is on Android Wear, but it won't be getting the 2.0 update. I'm intrigued by Tizen, since it looks easier to navigate than my Live, but Wear 2.0 also looks promising. I have small wrists, so large watches don't work well for me (my Gear Live has the original band, and is on the tightest position). If I went with Tizen, would the Gear S3 be better than the S2? If I go with Wear 2.0, which one would be best?

I also would like to get either a Gear VR or Daydream headset. I mostly want this so I can watch Youtube and Netflix in bed, but I also would like to be able to connect it with my desktop computer, if possible. I've used TrinusVR with my S5 and Cardboard, but the lens wouldn't focus properly for me. 

TLDR; Galaxy vs Pixel vs your suggestion, Tizen vs Wear 2.0 (and which specific watch), and Gear VR vs Daydream?

Get the GS8. Should launch within 2-3 **months. Get a Gear S3 or a Huawei Watch (AW has better apps, Tizen is cleaner and easier. Google Now on my Moto 360 is a godsend sometimes) and a Gear VR.

GS8 will prob be around april, gear s3 is larger than the s2 so if u are skinny/small go with the s2 or if u are a large dude i'd go with the s3, the Moto 360 is pretty cool but the watch face was too large for me, i like the gear s2, i have small wrists though, i would go ahead and wait for the S8 either to get the new device or for the S7 to decrease in price.

I'd go with the S8. If you go with that, you might as well go with the Gear watch and Gear VR.

The Gear watch gets much, much better battery life than its competitors.

A lot of the time you can get one of those accessories thrown in when you purchase the device.
