Earlier I got bored and started thinking about when I first started watching LinusTechTips, and wanted to know when y'all started watching too.

I was also curious how much time it would take for people to start hopping on the forums.

I personally started watching Linus since winter of 2015, after I started having issues with my prebuild (i know i know). 

So, what's your story? Are you a tech geek? Let's share some stories!

I started watching midway through 2015, as I was building my first PC and watch one of their guides, then all the guides, then all the videos since about 2014... Then I joined up here October 2015 just to check it out.

I started watching sometime during late 2013/early 2014. Made an account (dont remember why) in dec 2014. Trying not to disappear for months at a time again.

Bumbed into channel in 2011 when I was changing case and wanted some reviews. Subscribed sometime along 2012. Have been on forums since 1st week.

Started watching some time in 2013, but now I don't watch much anymore because I don't like the new direction. I joined the forums almost three years ago just to enter a giveaway.. lame right? At the time I started watching was right around the time when I built my "super duper" Core 2 Duo + 9800gt setup (hey, it beat the Athlon 64 3000+ I came from) and officially 100% joined the PC master race. Well, I had been using PC for years before but it wasn't until then that I said "holy shit, who needs consoles?". But anyways after I entered that giveaway I've been a active member since! I don't post much, but I come here just about every day.

started at the end of 2015 and is his build guide. Was building my first PC back then. Then I watched how to configure SSD HDD setup, was very helpful. Later Get hooked up by their oil cooled PC and started watching every video from them.
Joined the forum mid 2016 to trouble shoot the PC I built. Ppl here are very friendly and helpful.

I started mid 2016 when I wanted to update my HDD to a an SSD and have watched videos from his NCIX days, techquickie and LTT.  I am now hooked, I have built my first computer and have rebuilt two more at my office. I just joined the forum the other day when I wanted to see a video on home server ideas. I am a novice about building, and have been a Mac/Apple user for 30 years, but I am really enjoying building!!  So far everyone has been great on this forum!!!!
