Hi, i have this PC and i loaded windows 10 insider on it with the media creation tool.

And when i hit "F12" on my PC to load it...

It didnt show up..

 

What did i do wrong?

The USB doesnt show up? Or what does not show up?

You need to have created the USB image. Did you?

yes the ISO was "unpacked" and put on the USB drive

Did the Windows 10 Media Creation tool make the bootable USB by itself, or did you just open the ISO and dumped the files on the USB drive? This is important.

Because if you just dumped the files yourself, it will not work since you haven't modified the USB drive to make it bootable. You need to have the tool download the Windows 10 files and have it create the bootable USB.

Does this PC support bootable USB? Do you have an option in the BIOS to enable/disable this feature?

What i had to do is go into the boot menu and set my USB drive as a primary boot device
