Smallest mATX case that still supports a 240mm Rad?

Mr.Meerkat

Title, I want the smallest mATX case that still supports a 240mm rad where if it supports dual 240mm rads, it will be a bonus :)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Well is tough for matx boards (incoming mini rant)

Spoiler

I am sick and motherfucking tired of stupid fucking manufacturers that keep releasing matx boards while NO FUCKING MATX CASES are being made anymore. It's seriously fucking rare to find a new, decent matx size case yet it's sometimes easier to find cheap matx boards than cheap atx boards. Why do this fuckers condemn every fucking budget build to look utterly fucking retarded with a large as case and a tiny matx boards that looks far too fucking small for it? I seriously fucking hate fucking case manufacturers they need to collectively shove 50 feet of steel fucking poles up their motherfucking ass.

With that out of the way I think one of the best bet is the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv mATX but phanteks flatout hasn't made any and they command stupid prices right now (400 bucks for the black one on amazon).

Silversone also used to make matx sized cases but not that could fit 240 rads and also suffer a bit from the above problem: very limited runs so prices are absurd.

I know the rant is supposed to be over but buying an matx mobo was the worst decision I made so far. Stupid fucking size with no cases for it.

But...I need a mATX case so I can keep my 5820K without spending an absurd amount of money on the sole x99 mITX motherboard...I mean you can grab a X99 mATX motherboard 100 pounds cheaper than the single asrock mITX mobo :/

How about the Bitfenix Prodigy M? I mean it's a 4 year old case but at least it hits most of the checkboxes...

The prodigy is too large. If you like it by all means but if I was looking for a large case I'd get an atx tower with no window instead.

Sigh, I could always do plan B which is to just sell my 5820K system and get a 7700 for my mITX build :P

I mean a 1060 and 7700 system isn't a bad system by any means...

Posting this old review here since it shows you just what you can expect when you put an mATX board and a 240 rad into this case.

The case really seems to be intended to be used with air coolers, especially given the direct airflow path, but if you want something small and the build Luke showcases here matches what you're looking to accomplish, it's a fine case.

The Carbide Air series' dual-chamber design makes cable management a breeze. So I always recommend it.
