Is a new PSU required

Don't get that PSU. Get an EVGA or SeaSonic.

550W is more than enough. An EVGA GS/G2/GQ/G3/B2 should do nicely.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
