to be honest you shouldn't need that much ram unless your planning on doing 4k videos then you should be fine with 64gb, other than that just damn

32 is enough lol, 128 its a waste of money imo, what you need are faster ram, not more gb of ram...

Those SSD's actually aren't that bad, especially if he's just using them as mass storage. It's built on the same technology as a Sandisk SSD which are great drives for the price that they are. A lot better than anything from Kingston at least.

If it was my build and I was spending this much on parts I'd go full splurge and get a casemods case not a regular tower.

Why?  I have my desktop in a $180 Rosewill case and it does the job of holding all the hardware fine.

What programs do you use? There have been a ton of workstation programs (like the whole Autodesk suite) that can't use the 6 cores at the same time (that said if you want to game while rendering video for instance, they're nice). Also a RAID with entry-level TLC SSDs is very much not recommended. Here's an alternative.

Other notes: You definitely don't want to run a high-heat computer on an H440. It's famous for restricting airflow a lot, changed it to something similar.

And also if you run the HDDs in RAID 5/6, you should be able to get 6TB worth of fast-ish storage and one recovery disk.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)
