Amd fx 8350 min itx?????

Hi guys. 

I'm thinking about turning my PC into a mini itx, because I'm tired of moving it around to friends. and I seem to be doing that more than I thought I would. which is a good thing.  but man, buying the dark base pro didn't make it easier. didn't really think it was this big

 

Want to change it into mini itx with air cooling,  but can't fint any motherboards for my cpu.  anyone know anything ??

There are no AM3+ mini itx boards that i know off.

I think there has been one, but i cannot really remember that i have ever seen it.

Might have been a prototype.

But you wont find any mini itx am3+ boards out there.

Because there simply arent any.

Micro ATX will be easier to do.

there are a couple but they are older and aren't meant for fx proccessors

There are ITX AM3 boards, but not AM3+ boards. Probably because since AM3+ has more data connections and whatnot to go to both the north and south bridge, there probably just isn't enough space.

Yep there are no mini itx am3+ boards in the wild.

I do have seen a prototype once, but that never made it to full production.

Too expensive, too complicated, and not enough annimo for it.

but micro ATX cases are still just either huge cubes, or still too big towers?

I haven't found one which

• Looks good,
• has toolless HDD mount 
• large fan support, 120+140 mm fans.
• Full length GPU support
• Supports full atx powersupply

I'd rather not change a lot of my components, as they work JUST fine for my use. I just need this PC to be more mobile.

Not unless you want a burned motherboard! AM3+ with mini-ITX/ATX is not a good idea even if you find one of those sketchy boards...
