Is this 1440p 165Hz monitor a good deal?

sazrocks

So I'm thinking about upgrading my monitor and stubled upon this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CwgPxr/dell-s2417dg-238-165hz-monitor-s2417dg

Its 1440p, 165Hz, G-Sync (I have a 1060 (Don't worry I will mainly be playing RL and csgo on this monitor)), and its Dell. I don't know much about monitors, but I wanted to know if this is something I should jump on or not.

If you really play cs go competetively you should know that a 1440p res will not benefit much though the price for it is really sweet

That is a really good deal on a monitor, I would highly recommend it. I would color calibrate it if possible because it is TN so a color calibration would help it out some.

I agree u, but another problem is the viewing angles of a tn panel. They're awful. I would go with it @sazrocks, but beware of that. If it would've been just a tiny more I would stay away, but that deal is really nice.
