This has been asked numerous times. We're not doing it because it's simply not worth it.

What's the problem with just using the mobile website...?

if you really are a mobile enthusiast, you would use a browser to do almost everything.

Personally I would love an app because it would allow me to get android notifications with a unique sound. Using the web browser on my phone I can get notifications, but they are the generic system notification sound, so I often don't realize I've gotten a LTT notification.

 

The app would also allow Linus or his staff to creep on our Android device galleries, calls, texts, etc, so there's that selling point! :P
