well tomb raider is in third person and can be played with a game pad on a tv, far cry is in first person so should be played with the keyboard and mice on the monitor desk... that is the major difference here I would say since both games are solid.

I kinda prefer tomb raider some though.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was a great game. It is however just a story-driven game with absolutely no replay value and no drive for you to complete tombs after you have completed the game.

I never played Far Cry 1, 2, 3 or primal. However I tried Far Cry 4 (for like 20 minutes) and I got a headache from it because they used dynamic environments so the background is continuously shaking and I just couldn't play it.

I was thinking between Rise of the tomb raider (Never played one of those before) or Far cry primal. I'm open to any other recommendations.

$60 is so much for a single game, you could pick up a bunch of games for that amount. Say, Path of Exile, Skyrim (original, probably costs a bunch less), Undertale, Super Meat Boy and Cities: Skylines.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Save it and invest in yourself.

He is spending it on himself, your comment is essentially useless.

Also, he said he has 60$ to spend not that the game is necessarily 60$ [:

FC Primal is 17$ @Green Man Gaming ATM

I don't usually shop at those places since they usually harm the developers, but since this is Ubisoft we're talking about, i might give it a try. I buy it and they give me the key for Uplay, right?

-Scratch that, i did a quick google search, looks like they are legit.

Then again, I see the gpu you're rocking from your profile, and ROTR is definitely the kind of game I'd want to play with that kind of hardware. I was extremely impressed by the graphics at high with a couple settings at medium on my 970, so it should really look incredible maxed out on a 1080.
