Need laptop to replace current desktop

Due to circumstances I have to completely replace my desktop with a laptop. I need the laptop to be at most $1200 and to close to the current desktop spec wise. Will be willing to buy the laptop from any reputable websites or stores in Houston,TX. Also prefer that it can connect and run a 144hz monitor

Desktop:

Fx-8350

gtx 970

8 gb of ram

128 ssd

1TB HDD

if you can spend 1300$ then you can get a laptop with a 1060, if not then you would only get a laptop with a 1050ti, unless there is a sale.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

I'd recommend something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Eluktronics-P650RP6-Premium-Gaming-Laptop/dp/B01LYOTO9B/ref=pd_lpo_147_tr_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=T8KJCRD1TBQACF9RZ2T9

The Clevo P650RP6 is a great machine, it has plenty of room to upgrade storage with 3 more drive slots and 4 total ram slots.

Then you get a GTX 1060 which is even better than your desktop and a nicer cpu.  Just pick up a larger hard drive if you need.

@Dackzy A 1060 can be done within budget.

Also has a solid i/o selection.  Can 100% drive a 144Hz monitor or two.

yes when on sale (which I said), but remember now I live in Denmark, I don't follow sales in the US.

I just know that clevo 1060 laptops start around the 1300$ mark for a very basic version

Oh that's not on sale.  It's on "sale" like that 90+% of the time.  When it's really on sale it's $1050.
