I've had my G502 for about 2 weeks and I am find this really annoying. Because the front end sticks out, when I press my finger down on the 2 main mouse buttons, the mouse tips slightly forward. This is fine when i'm web browsing but it is awful in games, it means when I click something then the mouse will not stay still.

The only way around this is to keep my fingers much further back in a claw grip, which is extrmely uncomfortable to me. It seems like this mouse is exclusively for claw grips? Which is not what it was advertised as.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?

I cannot say I've had this issue (very large hands, palm grip). But it sounds like it could be solved by putting more weights in

I have the same exact mouse and I have no issues with it tipping forward when I press down on the buttons.  Maybe it's just my hands(I have smaller hands).  My grip is a weird combo of a claw grip and a palm grip.  I also have all of the weights in.

I'd say try resting the middle of your hand near the glowing G to balance the weight out.

No issues here using palm-grip.

That makes it slightly better but still doesn't fix it :(

The weights, put as many towards the back as possible, except put one towards the front.

My solution would be to shift your hand backwards, or stop clicking so hard

Yeah, actually if I rest my hand completly on the mouse and push the middle of my hand down on where you said, then its fine, and I can put pressure on the mouse button without it moving. However the way I use mice, my hand barely touches the body of the mouse. I don't have a flat palm grip.

That is called a claw grip.........

it takes not much pressure to make the mouse move. I have to click very lightly otherwise.

I am tempted to return the mouse... it's a shame, I love everything else about it but I've tried working on this for 2 weeks and not getting anywhere. I think it's best to choose a mouse that is suited to your grip and comfort, not the other way around.

My previous mouse, the Coolermaster Mizar, was SUPER comfortable, i just wanted some more buttons really.

no, my grip is somewhere in between. I guess it's a fingertip grip?

Well you need to hold your mouse properly without your fingers so far in front, or you need to get a larger+heavier mouse.

hold my mouse properly? I hold my mouse in the way which is most comfortable and easiest / most natural to me.

It's personal preference and there's no real way of holding a mouse "properly" so @Enderman is just talking gibberish :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Well, some people say they are more comfortable when slouching and they end up with a curved spine...

But anyway, that's not the point, you just need a different mouse.

So if someone holds their mouse with their foot, you would call that properly?

I think if someone presses the buttons so far forward that their mouse is tipping over, that is not "proper" ....

So is using your thumb for the left click and your index being on the right click not proper?

Is using 3 fingers on the left click, scroll and right click not proper?

I mean it's personal preference and you can't really criticise someone for holding a mouse differently to the general population.

I'd put weights on near the rear of the mouse, and see if that helps.
