Have you tried replacing the thermal paste and removing dust with compressed air?

Because the "best" CPU coolers cost thousands of dollars, so maybe you should be more specific.

fyi socket 775 coolers work with 1150 1151 and 1155, so there are tons of options
just let us know your budget

Hyper 212 or Arctic Freezer 13, both cheap and pretty good.

You are wrong, they don't exactly fit. LGA 775 uses 72mm hole spacing, while LGA115x uses 75mm between holes.

They are close, but not the same.
