How hard was it to get 5.3 ghz on the new 7700k ?

With which cooler ?

What frequency would be attainable easily with a cheap air cooler like a coolermaster evo  212 ?

Very easy once I found the right chip.

It's delided and cooled by a very large water loop.

I can't tell you what it would do on air.

Don't feel like its worth taking the risk to delid just to drop 10c ( most people get 10c )

with the right tool there is nearly zero risk
