Windows Downgrade?!

Is there any way to downgrade from Windows 10 to 8 or 7?

It is installed on a brand new prebuilt Lenovo, so so the built in option "go back to Windows 7" is not available.

Sure, I could buy a standalone license of Windows 8 or 7 from Newegg or Best Buy, but that is super expensive (like 200 CAD or 140 USD). And kinguin etc. is not an option because the person I'm doing this downgrade for would never spend money on something that has a small chance of not being 100% legit. Hope we can find a cheap or free way to do this and thanks in advance.

yeah make a windows 7/8 installer flash drive or disk and insert it and make sure that in the bios it prioritizes the installer disk/drive

sadly no they are locked to windows specific version

OEM windows on your prebuilt will allow a downgrade for pro/business editions. can get iso here:

If you dont have a pro edition then the way to get legit windows 7/8 is to buy a retail windows pro, then enrol it into software assurance.

cheap or free? the only way to get free is during a promotion of a new product. the only way to get cheap is to buy in bulk. anything else is dodgy as retail margins on MS products are very small. I almost forgot academic, if you're at school or uni you may have access to free Windows.
