Black line running across my T.V horizontally, and it has a dark bar running vertically down it.

As the title said my t.v just keeps forming black lines and dark spots.they aren't dead pixels just shadowy dark spotd. Any idea what this would be called so I can Google a fix for it? Thanks

what TV is it? 

 

honestly sounds like a defect or panel fault. does it display no matter what content?

It is a LG 42LD550, and it displays on all inputs

Probably dead panel as poster above said. Call the manufactur and explain the problem
