that's safe also you have a good overclock.

Paul's Hardware OCd his 6600k to 4.4 GHz with 1.325 v. I personally have tested it for around 15 minutes last night using Prime95 without issues. Though I haven't tested it overnight.

not a good idea to go over 1.3 with a 6600k for a daily driver cpu. but with a good cooler max you should go is 1.35

Those are haswell numbers.

Don't use prime95, use intelburntest or aida64

I thought I've seen that somewhere. Now I remember that I saw that post here. Thank you, noted.

Think it was failed SCP on the board tho

The 4670K ran at 3.9GHz at 1.159V in my shitty B85 board for 24 hours straight without issues in Prime95.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Its still an unrealistic load for the CPU

Yeah, that's the point. It ensures stability. Just like Aida64 when you burn the CPU, FPU, and cache. It is essentially a stability guarantee.

Also in general I run my 6600K at 1.35V for 4.7 GHz, and I can get to 4.9 if I crank it to 1.4-1.45 (depending on which board I use), but since I don't need that for my use, I don't bother. But it's nice to know I can do it. So close to 5, but not quite there...

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

what is the max safe voltage for a 6600K running it on custom water cooling loop. currently 1.325 @4.5. @55 to 60 C  4.6 wont happen till you go till you bump voltage.  1.35

howzit ok i my self have the 6600k and well atm you can see in the images ive uploaded that im running at 4.6ghz at 1.450v but the best part of it all im using a stock intel cooler with some good paste between them sure my temps are higher but its completely stable... why i did the oc was coz playing The Witcher 3 @ 4k requires alot from the cpu pretty much taps it out... so that 4.6 really helps and i can play for 5 hours straight with out any system crashes ( Gta V Doom Farcry 4 Crysis3  Batman Arkham Knight what ive tested so far)  so
