CPU Compatibility

The best cpu I would suggest for that motherboard is an i7 4770. Not as good as 6700k, but still pretty good. 

 

1. Get the i7 4770 (cheapest)

2. Upgrade platform to z270 with i7 6700k/7700k

3. Wait till amd ryzen CPUs come out and make a decision then.

1150 board, best you can upgrade to is the 4790K I believe. Get a nice but cheap cooler for it and should be OK with the 4.4Ghz boost on that chip.
