why are there more than one graph per core in task?

this just started happening and i have no idea what it means this never showed up for me before till now prob something super simple can someone explain what it means and doesbandicam 2017-01-11 14-54-00-856.jpg

In the right click options you can turn on or off kernel times.

do you have only one xeon or two xeons in this system?
looks like you have two 8 core CPUs = 16 threads each = 32 in total

Your CPU features hyper threading, meaning every core turns into two 'threads'. Threads are how programs (such as Windows) see cores. This is why you have 32 task manager graphs

You switched the setting to logical cores on adjust graph. You now see the usage per thread. Switch to total and you are good.
