LG 29UM68 refresh rate questions

Hey guys. I'm thinking about using the LG 29UM68 paired with my 5K iMac, but I'm getting very confused about it's refresh rate. I want an ultra wide monitor at 75hz, which this is advertised as, but my question is does the monitor need to be overclocked to achieve its 75hz refresh rate? Keep in mind overclocking is unachievable on MacOS.
