Why?... Just why?

Why do all the middle schoolers at my school (except me) have iPhones, like honestly I'm fine with you having an iPhone as long as you don't brag about it having the best specs, which it doesn't. They can't even argue about specs I bet they don't even know what ram is. And for the iPhone users here, I'm not hating on you i can understand the reasons of having an iPhone, its just annoying when people brag that apple makes the best phones. This isnt really a question though ,I just felt like posting it :b

In fairness, iPhones do have some of the best specs. Not that that makes bragging about either side okay -- especially since a lot of the people that talk shit (on both sides) don't actually know what they're talking about.

Better is in the eye of the beholder. But iPhones do have a mainstream appeal, and this idea that owning an iPhone is a symbol of higher class (even though the damn things are so common).

I used to be an iPhone guy, and they (generally) are very well built, premium phones. But there are also plenty of premium Android offerings out there too. My advice, ignore them, and appreciate the miraculous pocket computer you've got, regardless of who made it.

Not an iPhone user, but the specs are pretty much there at the top my friend. Massive RAM amounts mean absolutely nothing when the OS itself never takes advantage of them.

Did you check the CPU benchmarks? The latest iPhone CPUs really have no competition.

Did you know the iPhone has had by far the fastest storage for couple generations now? It uses the NVMe protocol, yes, NVMe. Most people's desktop computers don't even support that. The high capacity model benched at like 850MB/s read and 350MB/s write, what other phone comes even close? Surely that makes much more difference than 2-3 extra gb of cheap memory chips.

I also hate it when I meet clueless iPhone people bragging about their iToy, but I get even more frustrated about all the others that just read a spec sheet and call it a day.

No I know that their CPU is better, but its because it's a closed software's which I hate. But what I'm mainly annoyed about is like the screen omg I can't even look at it, plus it's so limited. And I didn't know about the storage thing, kinda interesting ;)

I didn't have a smartphone until 9th grade.... even now in 10th grade, I don't have a good phone. I say everyone gets a "dumb phone" until they can get a job to get the phone they want and worked hard for.

I paid for my phone, but I guess I don't pay the 20 dollar access charge a month for it :b
