HDD Randomly Increasing RPM

I've got an issue with my PC. I've got an SSD for Windows and other important things and a HDD for games. For some reason, I experience stuttering. I hear my HDD increasing RPM in an instant making the whole game stutter for a second or two, and then it goes back down to normal. What could I do to fix this?

Depending on the drive, it may intelligently control the RPM depending on the load. That may be what you're experiencing. You can't really control the RPM.

How do you know it is the hDD and not your computer or GPU fans?

Check you hdd health with crystaldiskinfo, it might need to be replaced.
