So I've been doing some research into water cooling because I want to do it to my PC. But would it not be recommended to use hard tube cooling for a first time? Since it's harder to work with? thanks

trying looking at jayztwocents hes a watercooling enthusaist and you will find most of what you need to know on his channel :)

They're realistically the same difficulty. Both require measuring, cutting, and care.

If you can do one, you can do the other.

True, I will say that hardline takes more time and tools which might require a bit more expertise and hardline is less forgiving for mistakes since it's much harder to bend it to check, lol.

I'm currently gathering bits for my first watercooling project. I have decided to go with Hardline, From what i've seen hardline isnt that much harder compared to soft tubing. Hard parts would be measuring and if you make a mistake its harder to fix, If youre going to use a bending tool thatll help alot with your bends and youll only have to worry about cutting the tubes to the correct length. When ordering your tubing order more than you need

Check out Jayztwocents for watercooling guides

Soft line is way easier, but you'll spend less on fittings with hard pipe if you bend all your 90s, 45's etc. I just started tonight for the first time and can tell you its harder to get the bends right and look good. I've completely trashed my first 90 deg. bend, blistered the second 90 deg bend and after that I did five more that will work but are not show quality.

Hit the Funny Button!    :D     The more you press it the funnier you get  :)

It's not the difficult it just takes more time, my first build was hardline and I think it turned out pretty good though if i had to do it again I'd go soft tubing cuz its just easier to work with, especially with my case being matx.
