yea im not sure how that equates into all this, but i assume that driving an 8k display is done by the GPU not the cpu. upping the resolution and graphics load is generally what i see advised when people encounter a cpu bottleneck, so it should take more load off the cpu than it puts on it I THINK, but i really am not sure how that scales in different programs, don't know enough about load balancing to really say accurate things about it.
