yea im not sure how that equates into all this, but i assume that driving an 8k display is done by the GPU not the cpu. upping the resolution and graphics load is generally what i see advised when people encounter a cpu bottleneck, so it should take more load off the cpu than it puts on it I THINK, but i really am not sure how that scales in different programs, don't know enough about load balancing to really say accurate things about it.

Not ridiculous, i think it's not necessary. And btw firstly we need hardware that's 16k capable.

Dell doesn't care if you need it... as long as someone buys their 5K monitor and they're making money they couldn't care less what you do
