Computer automaticly returns from sleep

kurima

Hello,

I have a problem, my new computer with intel 4670k, asus maximus VI impact motherboard, 16gb of kingstone hyper X beast ram, EVGA GTX 760 and windows 8 automaticly returns from sleep after about 1 min. in sleep state. Monitors still off, but computer fans start spinning. What should I do?

Balanced, I turned off automatic sleep after fixed period off time when not using, I like to turn on sleep myself.

Does it happen consistently?

It is something to do with the Network connection but I am not sure how to permanently resolve the issue. A temporary fix for me has been to disable the Ethernet adapter before I put the computer to sleep, and it will sleep fine. Having it enabled will cause it to bring itself out of sleep within a couple of minutes.

Control Panel --> Network and Internet --> Network and Sharing Center --> Change adapter settings
