raid 0 question

so iv never really ran a raid but i set it up today since i got old of a second 250g 840 evo and i dont really see much difference in load speeds and file moving speeds but i feel like my download speeds have jumped up

maybe isp running great today or normal?

Download speed isn't going to be affected by the raid.

Even a single SSD is more than fast enough to saturate basically any realistic internet connection. And you wouldn't notice much of a difference in load times (since unless it's very large files it's latency that's important, not read speeds) and you wouldn't notice a difference in move speeds unless you're moving from/to another equally fast array.
