What CPU/MOBO/RAM/COOLER combo should I upgrade to?

I pretty much just want the cheapest combo that will allow 60+ fps ultra settings at 2560x1080 (ultrawide 1080p). Right now my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU pretty hard, I don't want to speed more than 350 - 400$, but cheaper is always better. I would also like to do some overclocking. I live within 30 min of a microcenter, so I would prefer microcenter unless it is a bad deal. This is my current setup.

Go with a i5 6400, the cheapest 1151 motherboard you can find, and 8 GB of DDR4. Stock cooler should work just fine for your purposes. Should cost somewhere in the mid-high 200's.

If you wanted to step up a little bit, get a 6600k, they might be discounted because of the 7600k and a Z170 board (also might be discounted), maybe 8-16 GB of RAM, and a 212 EVO (or whatever the new version is called)

Main PC: i5 4590 @ 3.5 GHz ♦ RX 480 Armor OC ♦ 16 GB DDR3 ♦ GA-Z97-HD3 ♦ 120 GB 840 EVO ♦ 120 GB Intel 520 ♦ W10 Home

Scrapyard PC: Xeon X5460 @ 3.8 GHz ♦ HD 7870 ♦ 8 GB DDR2 ♦ GA-P35-DS3L ♦ 80 GB Intel 320 ♦ 160 GB WD Caviar SE ♦ W10 Home

Wait for the Overclockable i3 from Kaby Lake

Overclock your GPU to 4.5ghz in the mean time

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

The i5 6400 isn't much faster than even the i3 6100 due to the clock speed differences, the overclocking i3 should crush it given that Kaby Lake seems easy to hit 5ghz on

Your GPU is perfectly fine for that resolution

DEEP cool has cheap coolers that are about the same as a Hyper 212
