Does the (unofficial) LLT Notification extension for chrome mean you always appear as online when using chrome?

I was wondering if it did so i tested it kind of.

I closed all tabs open on the forum on chrome and went to my profile (logged out) on edge (idk, could have done it on chrome lodged out but effort). It said last active 3 minutes ago and then i refreshed it and it was 1, so i must have been the extension?

 

So when i close chrome does it stop the extensions or not, does it run the the background?. I can't test now without lossing this.

 

Anyone have an idea?

Yes, the extension will keep you showing as online, and it will run even when chrome is closed, assuming you haven't disabled the relevant chrome setting.

I can't decide if that is good or bad.

I doubt many people constantly check your online status.

I've only check it once, and that was when someone claimed they would commit suicide.

Do you care so much about what others think? They should be the ones being worried about you seeing them as nolifes who stalk you constantly for replies.

Yes, i was just looking at both side of the argument.
