So I got a bunch of money for Christmas from my dad's side of the family, mostly gift cards, a little cash.  I'll list it here:

$50 cash

$300 Visa gift card

$20 Visa gift card

$20 Walmart gift card

$50 GameStop gift card

So I'm wondering what should I spend it on.

I thought of getting the Xbox One S, but I already have a fat Xbox and don't know if it's worth the money.  I thought maybe a PS4 since Ace Combat 7 will be exclusive to Sony's console.  Then I thought I could use the money to get games I've been wanting:

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

Titanfall 2

Forza Horizons 3

Then I thought maybe I could use it to build yet another computer (not like I need one).  I also thought about buying a bunch of tech stuff with it.  Anyways, I don't know what to do.  Help?

Sorry if this is in the wrong sub-forum, please move if it is.

Technically it's an APU. :P (I'm being facetious, I know it's a CPU with a GPU on the die)

But, just let him figure it out.

Actually, at the resolution I play at, I max most of the games I play... or at least high settings.

If it was me, I'd upgrade your cpu/board/ram with your $300 VISA gift card. I'd really like to have fit an i5-6500 in, but the only way to do that would have been to buy a newegg gift card to apply to your purchase since it comes to like $302. AFAIK that's the only way to add a second payment method at newegg. I'm suggesting newegg since they don't charge sales tax to North Dakota.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6400 2.7GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($184.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus H110M-A/M.2 Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  ($46.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: GeIL EVO POTENZA 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $281.96
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-01-03 23:45 EST-0500

Then I'd spend $30 of that cash to buy Titanfall 2 for PC from Origin.

https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/titanfall/titanfall-2/standard-edition

Then I'd use the Gamestop $50 gift card and some of the leftover cash to buy Forza Horizon 3 for PC.

You'd end up with an $18.04 VISA gift card, a $20 VISA gift card, a $20 Walmart card, a much better balanced gaming PC, Titanfall 2 and Forza Horizon 3 for PC, and you wouldn't have to play that piece of crap COD Infinite Warfare. Of course this is assuming your Windows 10 is a retail copy you can use on a new motherboard.

Well you mentioned a new computer, so I went with it. I guess a PS4 Slim could make some sense if you're interested in their exclusives, though I'd wait for a decent sale since the system just went back up to $300 on January 1st. I'd probably use those $20 Visa and Walmart cards to buy Steam cards (or possibly Playstation cards if you go with a PS4) since those vouchers will just add money to your account. I'd definitely still buy Titanfall 2 for $30 from Origin if you want to play the PC version. If you do buy a PS4 Wal-Mart has had some crazy good deals on some of the best Playstation exclusives (eg The Last of Us, Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, Bloodborne, God of War 3, Ratchet & Clank), though make sure to get them to price match the online price.

Yeah, a new computer, not upgrade my computer.  And that's for a cheap office build I need to build for my job.

Also, the only exclusive I'm interested on PS4 is Ace Combat 7.
