Is my gaming build VR ready?

Hey guys, 

I just got a brand-new gaming build for Christmas. Is it VR ready? (Please don't be biased just because your computer is better. Not everybody can afford a GTX 1080 founders edition)

 

Specifications:

CPU: Intel i5-6400

Random Access Memory: 8GB Single Channel DDR4

Graphics Card: GTX 1050ti 2GB

HDD: SATA 7200

 

Ports: 

1 - USB Type C

2 - USB 2.0

2 - USB 3.1

6 - USB 3.0

Nope. I'd get at least a GTX 1070 GPU for VR. A 1060 or RX 480 would work too, just not ideal. Your 1050 Ti is a decent card but not good enough for VR.

I would say no, although I might be wrong I heart that a 1060 6gb is minimum required.

as far as i know no... but i dont know why everyone is so hyped as vr is so expensive

Nope. Imo if you were looking to spend $600-$700 on a VR headset, I'd prefer to get a nice GPU upgrade like a 8GB 480 and a 144Hz monitor but that's me.

Your build is far from bad, it's a very good budget build for 1080p just not VR.

Oh and no one should buy a founders edition card <3
