If you're playing at 1080p, the 2GB of frame buffer shouldn't matter much.

Actually I'm currently @ 900p

So I guess I'm safe. If I ever upgrade my monitor which will be in far future, I'll stick to 1080p

Guys I'm getting MSI GTX 680 [2 GB] on a very good deal but I was also thinking about GTX 1050 TI but its a bit costly and I'll have to wait for a while to get it.

So I wanna know whether 680 will be a good option and a chance to save a few bucks 6000 INR or $80 USD [approx]

So should I go for it.

What games, resolution, settings, etc. are you looking to play at?

I think it's worth the wait for the 1050ti (or better yet a 470 if you can at all afford it): much easier to run when it comes to power, better driver support (for the time being) and 4gb of vram instead of just 2 which might matter a little bit with modern games.

In older games the GTX 680 is on par or slightly better in all new games the GTX 1050ti is MUCH MUCH MUCH better.

Depends on what you're paying for it. If you got it for say, 80 bucks, I'd go for it.

What is the price for a 1050 Ti from an aftermarket vendor like in your country?

Hmm... 80 bucks. I'd go for the 680 and OC the hell out of it, but if you care about saving the environment and not having a jet engine inside your PC, then the 1050 Ti is the perfect card for vegans- I mean you.

Don't forget to negotiate with the seller, you may be able to get it for cheaper

Yeah, definitely. With the 80 bucks you saved I'd suggest buying a new monitor if you can.
