Best SD card for 4k

Hey guys, just bought a GoPro Hero 5 Black. I'm pretty excited to take it on my next trip, but there are a TON of SD cards on the market. Any suggestions for a SD card? Looking for the right balance between high capacity (for 4k), great read/write speeds for transferring to my PC, and not totally breaking the bank. Thanks and happy holidays!

Go buy the best sandisk card for the give size and capicity. There normally the best.

First, I recommend you buy a branded card like Sandisk or Lexar.  Their cards are the most reliable.

Second, look for a card that has at least 10-30MB/s write speed.  Go for something like UHS Class 1 or 3.

But on the safe side, buy the fastest card you can afford.  It will ensure you have more than enough speed.

Or you can get the extreme plus for $10 more, but with a GoPro you won't need it.  Save the $10.

I wonder how the OP will ever fit that big SD card into his GoPro camera...

FYI there are also SanDisk Extreme Micro SD cards.

Some people are just ridiculous
