Where to place an AIO water cooler?

Hey,

 

My case is the corsair 400c.

I have two options; I can place the corsair H100i v2 at the top or front of the case.

 

Can I just choose where or am I missing something?

just put it to wherever you think it looks pretty.

 

edit: you can put it on top so it blows all the hot air directly outside. although with that you will have like a 3 exhaust (back 1, top 2) if you want neutral or  leading to positive for less dust you need some kinda of nice fans on front).

 

at least that is how it's suppose to go.
