Posted December 17, 2016 if you feel like you can game a few more months on your current setup, wait. if you feel like you need a new pc right now, go for it
Posted December 17, 2016 Author hmm, my current computer is getting a bit slow, with my samsung ssd having degraded a bit. A windows reinstall would probably help speed it up a bit. The main reason i want to get a new pc is because my current case is simply to big and noisy, and i need something significantly smaller since im moving into a small apartment shortly. I could still sell my current setup for maybe $1000 aud (ppl sell similar pc bulds on a used site called gumtree for around $1000-1400 aud) Selling my current rig would hopefully offset around half the cost of my new one. Posted December 17, 2016 On my opinion wait is better to many things is coming in 2017.
Posted December 17, 2016 Intel has always been more relevant. You can take an i7 920 and still play AAA games with it. If it were me I'd wait GAMING RIG: CPU: Ryzen 5 5800X3D MOBO: ASUS TUF Gaming X570 PLUS (Wi-Fi) RAM: 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws @ 3600MHz GPU: PowerColor Fighter RX 6700 XT STORAGE: 500GB Crucial MX500 M.2 (Boot Drive) / 500GB Crucial SATA / 1TB WD HDD CASE: Dimas Tech EasyBench V3.0 VR RIG: CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x MOBO: MSI B550 Gaming GEN3 RAM: 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws @ 3600MHz GPU: Zotac AMP! 2080 Super STORAGE: 250GB ADATA SSD / 500GB WD Blue SSD / 1TB WD Blue HD
