ASUS VG245H - 24" 1080p TN Panel with 75hz Freesync ASUS VP279Q-P - 27" 1080p IPS Panel 60hz with Thin Bezels They will mostly be used for writing up invoices, project bids, and miscellaneous business related stuff with the occasional game whenever I go to his house. Posted December 13, 2016 I'd get the ASUS VP279Q as it is cheaper and if your dad isn't doing much gaming he doesn't need the higher refresh rate. The LG Ultrawide is a possible competitor, the Acer is out since it doesnt have VESA mount compatibility and I honestly don't really like Acer...
