Ultimate Bang for the buck super light gaming and multimedia pc!

I make it quick and dirty this time. You offer great help and I dont want to waste your time, but rest assured I thought my part already. I want to build a mini pc (think hometheater) in a small case. I want to be able to have two monitors at 1080p running on it (whit the programms mostly on one). Its a multimedia setup, means streaming movies at 4k (max. one at a time), butter smooth netflix, plex, crisp internet browsing with 7 tabs open, you get the idea. The tricky part is I also want to play certain games at 1080p with 30fps (pref. 60 fps). Games narrow down to league of legends, hearthstone, world of warcraft and rocket league. Medium settings are more than fine. Thats all I ever do on my pc so the idea now is:

Make it as powerfull as needed (no more overkill, no more "for five dollars more you could get this and this") > as cheap as possible >= as small as possible

I was thinking a small form factor case, mini itx with wifi and bluetooth, 4gb ram, good cpu with integrated graphics that can power these games, stock fan and small factor power supply with like 350w or something and good ssd + hdd storage for movies etc.

It should run windows 10.

So what would you say. :) Thank you very much already.

Might save a tad extra getting 2133 RAM instead of 2400, because of your mobo only able to run it at 2133 anyway, but the rest makes a lot of sense and is a very good build overall.

That's the cheapst actually. Speed doesn't determine the price. You could end up getting faster ram for chpeaer lol

I'd go this route.

  • The 16GB of RAM is more because IIRC it's shared with the integrated graphics. You might be able to get away with 8GB, but I think 4GB would be a little too crippling. I didn't research it.
  • The HD530 will play all the games you want to play on high, if not "ultra".
  • 275GB so that you have enough room to have all of your games on the SSD. You can save some by stepping down if you don't think you'll need that much space.
  • 2TB HDD. I have a 2TB external for movies and it's almost full. It'd be helpful to tell us how big your library is ;)
Not the fastest, but it doesn't have to be if it's just for storage.
  • Case is very much a personal preference one so this is more of a place holder. There's tons of HTPC style cases out there to choose from.
  • I'm not sure if that motherboard has Bluetooth, but USB Bluetooth transmitters are super cheap.

Giving him some future proof. But I agree. He can opt out for a gpu. Check the case above. It's very small

He was pretty clear in the title as well as his post that it was to be as cheap as possible with nothing more than what's needed.
