Are my temps fine?

xYowie

6700k 4.7ghz@1.35v

These temps are from running intelburntest for 1 minute: http://prntscr.com/dhgakp

I have a noctua d15s with mx4 thermalpaste

Am i doing something wrong or are the temps supposed to be this high? im aware intelburntest is supposed to generate more heat than normal cpu heavy programs

Dude, you shouldn't be getting 92 Celsius with an NH-D15S.... remount the cooler.

Already remounted 3 times tried nt h1 thermal paste and mx4, same result

it is still 8c from intel recommended max temp, not that I am saying this is fine just that intel have rated the max temp at 100c this means that you could run at near this for the length of the warranty and they would replace it.

I would redo the whole mounting bracket/system, it seems like something's not in all the way and you're not quiiiite making proper contact.

He's running it at 4.7ghz on air.... I see nothing unusual here I ran it on water and hit 80 to 85. the non soldered ihs makes Temps go high. I should say 80 to 85 at peak I was mostly in 70s. 4.8 on air would likley hit over 100.

I assume it's because you are using a cooler rated for 95W when the i7 6700k at stock produces 91W
