Is the G3420 Decent?

I came across a $20 never used Petinum G3420 on craigslist today, and was wondering if its decent enough for a light gaming htpc

if I paired it with like a rx 460, or if its very dated and will bottleneck a decent gpu. Also, is $20 a good value for this cpu?

I'd be amazed if it is actually new, thats a 3 year old CPU lol. it might bottleneck a little bit with a 460 but not much.

As a light gaming pc it's actually still a very decent chip.

It's based on haswell and 20$ is a very good deal for it.

Just don't expect to play gta 5 with it.

It'll be very limited by being a dual core,  most newer games will likely run like crap, some older games and indie games would run beautifully.

If you want a more specific answer, list some specific games.
