Help needed with Chrome crashes (May be hardware fault?)

I recently upgraded to a new motherboard, RAM and CPU. Occasionally when I have multiple tabs and a youtube video playing, chrome will crash to "not responding" for a few seconds and then it will carry on as usually, sometimes resulting in the youtube video being green which needs a refresh to work again. Although it has happened with a single video up before. This has happened with Vimeo and other players as well.

Specs:
6600k
Asus Z170I PRO GAMING
16gb 8x2 3000mhz DDR4 LPX RAM
GTX 1070 Reference

Non overclocked apart from XMP profile applied.

Reinstalled flash and java. Used driver sweeper to reinstall the Nvidia drivers twice. Reinstalled chrome. Passed single test of MemTest86
