Corsair Dominator memory, worth it?

I know Linus likes to use Dominator memory in his high end builds. Are they actually worth it over a set of cheaper Corsair Vengeance memory? What do you get for the extra cash?

Performance wise, no, you won't notice any difference. RAM today is so fast that even the slowest ones are fast enough.

 

The only thing you get are different looks, but that's subjective.

Some people are prepared to pay more money for it, some don't. It's something you need to decide for yourself :P

for the extra money you get a highet speed with lower clocks, but IMO its not worth it really, its money that can be spent elsewhere so if you dont really like the look or are already running something like an I7 and a high end GPU like a 1080 then i wouldent do it because that money could be spent on getting a better CPU or GPU

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I don't think it's worth it, unless you are doing some audio/video editing that can acctually benefit from faster ram.

Normal day works on PC + gaming don't need that good RAM.
