Blender cant see render

so when I press the button to render it(f12) it doesn't show the image, it does finish rendering but for some reason it doesn't show me the rendered image, I have tried restarting blender but it still doesn't work, anyone know why its doing this?

yes I have lights, its the image render, and there is only one scene which I am rendering.

Open the default scene, do you see the image. Its probably soemthing setup wrong in your scene.

there is only one scene so not sure what you mean by the default scene and if there is something setup wrong I wouldn't really know how to fix it

Open the render view window.

Well I mean you probably can't render because your using a blender, jk jk. Open the render view window.

so it turns out I was being a derp, I was using blender to edit videos and I changed the render display to keep ui...
