Is it possible to mount my mATX board inside a full sized ATX case?

Yeah, the usually have support for ATX, mATX and mini ITX so you're fine.

Yes of course, if it has the standoff holes for it, or you're good with modding... most would come with it as standard anyway, you just need to move standoffs to correct holes and make sure none are going to be short circuiting the mobo.
