Down Sides of cheaper motherboards

What are the downsides of cheaper motherboards besides extra features? I was looking at AM3+ motherboards and noticed that the price ranges from 30-300. Besides features like overclocking would the functionality of windows or my operating system differ between the different models?

The VRM'S, Chokes and MOSFET'S are cheaply made so you won't have very much overclocking headroom.

Anything else besides that? I don't really care about overclocking for this build particularly
