PCI graphics card

NecroFlex

Yes, ik what you're gonna say, that it's useless and to get a PCI-E mobo and such, but humour me for a sec.

I have this mobo, will be getting a pentium dual core G3258 with it, i could use the internal GPU but if there's a PCI GPU i'd use it for the lol and cause i never had a PCI gpu.

So, what's the most powerful PCI GPU if there are any besides some quadros and such. Or can i just get a PCI to PCI-E converter and run a PCI-E GPU on it?

I don't think that's for PCI.

They are.

what about the adapters from PCI to PCIE? Would those work?

I've never tried them but I'd imagine there'd be some trouble. The absolute maximum a single 32-bit PCI can do is 266 MBps whereas PCI-E 2.0 starts at 500 MBps and that's a single lane. GPUs tend to get heavily bottlenecked at PCI-Ex1. Usually you really need at least x4 which is 2 GBps.  But if you're up for benchmarking it, do try it out. Might be fun. :)
