Updated: First Gaming Setup (red/black)

FateBroken

Thinking of buying these components for my first gaming setup. I am using a tp-link powerline and am going to run everything on the highest settings. Feel free to give any of your valuable tips as I just watch bunch of linustechtips videos and see what kind of setup I can buy.

Not a NEX PSU. Get an EVGA G2. The rest is fine. I guess LTT videos was really helpful as I can see these parts are really good

great except for PSU and RAM

do yourself a favor and pick up a G2 unit.

also, over 100 dollars for 16gb of RAM is ridiculous. Either pick up 32gb or 16gb of cheaper stuff.

other than that, looks good

Save your money, and switch out to the 500gb 850 Evo.

There's not a big performance gain from an 850 Pro to an 850 Evo. Just drop that 256gb Pro and grab the 500gb Evo, get double the storage, for the same price.

Yeah there's a couple components that should be upgraded, and some that are bad value. You definitely don't need that many fans, but since they're there for aesthetics, I won't touch 'em.

Put in a 6700k with that amount of money and make some better choices here and there.
