What is also weird, is that even if Vsync was on, it should be syncing to my 100hz refresh rate! What's going on here!?

You could try changing the preferred refresh rate option in the control panel to maximum available or something. I'd also change the power management to max performance as well.

Very true.  The good thing is you still have a beast of a card and one hell of a processor.  Cinebench R15 doesn't care about what card you have anyways.  :D

I'll have to give Cinebench a go sometime this weekend.

Also, EVGA's RMA process is awesome. Contacted them at like 9 last night and was approved within an hour.

That's awesome!   They really are top notch in CS.

They're rebate processing is also efficient.  I don't mind waiting as long as you acknowledge that you have it and that's another thing EVGA does a great job of.

Maybe you'll luck out and get a card that's better matched with the one that still works.  I'm not much of a believer in the importance of ASIC when it comes to single card overclocking and overall performance increases, but I do believe that two very closely matched ASIC cards work better in overall SLI performance.

Sooooooooooo, turns out the card I bought (that then died) was stolen. Guess I won't be buying from low feedback ebayers anymore. Gotta file a Paypal claim now. Ugh. Probably won't be beating your score anytime soon, lol.

Also, tried to push the 5960X further on cinebench then gave up after I got frustrated.

Man that is unbelievable!!  Really sorry to hear about it.

I'll PM you sometime and try to share some of my personal experiences with Cinebench in hopes of helping.  I don't expect to be on 8 cores much longer.  ?

Yeah I never ever buy any expensive hardware off eBay unless it's directly from Newegg eBay account.  Otherwise I always buy it off reddit hardwareswap from people with confirmed sales

Well at least now I only have to sell 1 Kingpin for a huge loss, so that's kind of good I guess.

Hey hey Ladies and Gentlemen,

I just got my hands on a pair of GTX 780 Hydro Coppers from EVGA for an amazing deal! (I love finding myself some dealios).

So bent some tubing and got them into the loop. Had some crashing issue at first, so moved my wifi card to another pcie slot and manually set my ram, rather than XMP. Now, no crashing (so far).

Ty Ty, Hopefully can get some overclocking on there. I don't really know what to expect as far as a decent score from 2 of things...??

Go to the first post of this thread and check the chart.  Find the top 780 SLI and beat it!!   @Masada02 has done a great job of reorganizing and updating it so everything is easy to find now.  Good luck!

There's an even better one here, took lots more effort though,  as far as I know it's currently the highest single gpu extremehd run on the Internet.

Alright, simmer down!  Or at least wait until Broadwell-E releases so that I can turn my current Haswell-E setup into a bench only rig and make a few of those DICE runs. :D

I bought an extra case with a removable motherboard tray in case I decided to go that route.  I'll be bugging the crap out of you when and if that happens.

That's cool, which type of cards do you have? Will you dice those or only cpu?

They are EVGA Hybrids (reference board) so I won't get a hell of a lot out of them with dice, but who knows?  Definitely the CPU if I end up keeping it.
