Posted November 21, 2016 My computer suddenly stopped working, and everything connected to the motherboard isn't working so people told me I need to clear CMOS... They provided my with this image below of my motherboard but Im still a bit confused I read the motherboard manual as well and it says "Resetting BIOS to default values 1. Power off the computer and unplug the power cord 2. Use a jumper cap to short JBAT1 for about 5-10 seconds. 3. Remove the jumper cap from JBAT1. 4. Plug the power cord and power on the computer." This made me even more confused, Where do I find this "Jumper cap" and how do I use it to "short" JBAT1! Please HELP!
 Posted November 21, 2016 What it seems like you have to do is remove the battery connector(red cable) then get a screwdriver and bridge the 2 pins at the jumper so they make contact. if you don't want to do that you can just remove the battery and unplug the pc from the wall. When that has done hold the power button for 10 seconds and leave the computer unplugged for 10-15 min before plugging everything back in and booting Hello
 Posted November 21, 2016 just unplug the pc and make sure your screwdriver touches the two pins for a few seconds.

(start a different thread for this) Hello
